Spring Water Bakery is a cottage bakery in Lake City, Florida. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how to contact us with privacy questions.

Information We Collect

When you reserve an order, we collect your name, mobile number, email address, the items and quantities you chose, any allergy or dietary notes, and anything else you write in the order note.

If you ask to be notified about a sold-out item or the next bake, we collect the email address or mobile number you give us, the item you're interested in, and your consent to be contacted about it.

When you arrive from a link in a social post, an email, or a search result, your browser may carry campaign tags (for example utm_source) and a referring site. We keep those, plus the page you landed on, in your browser for up to 30 days and attach them to an order or sign-up so we can tell which posts actually lead to orders. They do not identify you personally.

If you tick "Remember my details on this device" on the order page, your name, mobile number, email and contact preference are kept in your own browser's storage so the next order is quicker. They are not sent anywhere until you place an order, and the "Clear them" link on the order page removes them.

How We Use Information

We use customer information to review and confirm reservations, prepare orders, arrange pickup, send order status updates, respond to questions, keep basic business records, and, only with your consent, tell you when an item is back or what the next bake is. We do not sell customer information.

How Orders Are Processed

The website is hosted on Cloudflare. Order reservations and notify sign-ups are recorded in a spreadsheet the bakery owns, through Google Apps Script. Order status and confirmation emails are sent through Microsoft 365. These providers process your information on our behalf and their own privacy practices also apply.

Analytics And Advertising Measurement

To understand which posts and pages lead to orders, this site can use Google Analytics 4 and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. When they are active, they set cookies and receive information such as the pages you view, the items you add to an order, whether an order or sign-up was completed, and the value of the order. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, allergy notes, or order notes to these services. These tools are only loaded when the bakery has switched them on.

You can limit this measurement with your browser's cookie and tracking settings, or with tools such as the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Sharing Information

We share information only with the service providers named above as needed to run the bakery, when required by law, or to protect the bakery and its customers.
